Surah An-Nasr – A Message of Victory and Humility 

Surah An-Nasr is the 110th chapter of the Holy Qur’an. It is a Madani Surah revealed during the final phase of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ’s life. In just a few short verses, this Surah conveys a powerful message of divine victory, mass acceptance of Islam, and the Prophet’s ﷺ preparation for departure from this world.

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

اِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ اللّٰہِ وَالْفَتْحُ ۝۱

1. When the help of Allah and victory comes,

وَرَأَیْتَ النَّاسَ یَدْخُلُوْنَ فِیْ دِیْنِ اللّٰہِ أَفْوَاجًا ۝۲

2. And you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes,

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۭ إِنَّهٗ كَانَ تَوَّابًا ۝۳

3. Then glorify the praises of your Lord and seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is ever accepting of repentance.

🔹 Background:

This Surah was revealed after the Conquest of Makkah, the greatest and most peaceful victory in Islam. After this event, many tribes and people from across Arabia began accepting Islam in crowds.

Hazrat Umar ibn Khattab رضي الله عنه said:

“This Surah was a sign of the Prophet’s approaching death.”

Even though it speaks of victory, it also subtly indicates that the mission of the Prophet ﷺ was coming to an end.

🔹 Key Lessons:

1. Success Comes Only from Allah
   The Surah begins by declaring that help and victory come from Allah alone, reminding us to always rely on Him.

2. Growth of Islam
   After the victory, people entered Islam in large numbers, recognizing its truth.

3. Gratitude, Praise & Repentance After Success
   Rather than boasting about success, Allah commands the Prophet ﷺ to praise Him and seek forgiveness, teaching us that humility and gratitude are essential even at the height of success.

🔹 Spiritual Insight:

• Not a Moment of Pride, but Reflection
  The Prophet ﷺ, instead of celebrating, increased his acts of worship, dhikr, and istighfar (repentance).

• Preparation for the End
  The Surah gently hints to the Prophet ﷺ that his mission is nearly complete — a farewell revelation before his departure from this world.

This is why some scholars call it "Surah Al-Wada'" – The Farewell Surah.

🔹 Virtues from Hadith:

• Hazrat Aisha رضي الله عنها reported:
  “Before the Prophet ﷺ passed away, he would frequently recite Surah An-Nasr in his prayers.”

🌿 Final Thoughts:

Surah An-Nasr is not just about external success — it teaches the heart to remain grounded, grateful, and humble. When we experience any victory or blessing in life, we must remember to thank Allah, praise Him, and seek forgiveness, just as our beloved Prophet ﷺ did.

 سورۃ النصر – کامیابی کی خوشخبری اور عاجزی کا پیغام 

سورۃ النصر قرآن مجید کی 110ویں سورۃ ہے۔ یہ ایک مدنی سورۃ ہے جو رسول اکرم ﷺ کی زندگی کے آخری دور میں نازل ہوئی۔ اس سورۃ میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو عظیم فتح اور دین اسلام کی مکمل کامیابی کی خوشخبری دی۔

🔹سورۃ النصر 

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

"اللہ کے نام سے شروع، جو نہایت مہربان، ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے۔"

اِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ اللّٰہِ وَالْفَتْحُ ۝۱

1.     جب اللہ کی مدد اور فتح آ جائے۔     

وَرَأَیْتَ النَّاسَ یَدْخُلُوْنَ فِیْ دِیْنِ اللّٰہِ أَفْوَاجًا ۝۲

1. اور تم لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ وہ فوج در فوج دینِ اسلام میں داخل ہو رہے ہیں۔

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۭ إِنَّهٗ كَانَ تَوَّابًا ۝۳

1. تو اپنے رب کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کرو اور اُس سے معافی مانگو، بے شک وہ بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا ہے۔

🔹 سورۃ النصر کا پسِ منظر

یہ سورۃ فتح مکہ کے بعد نازل ہوئی، جو اسلام کی سب سے بڑی اور پرامن فتح تھی۔ اس کے بعد عرب کے قبائل فوج در فوج اسلام میں داخل ہونے لگے۔

حضرت عمر بن خطابؓ فرماتے ہیں:

"یہ سورۃ نبی کریم ﷺ کی وفات کی پیشگوئی بھی تھی۔"

🔹 اہم نکات

• فتح اور مدد: اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے نبی کو بتا رہا ہے کہ اللہ کی مدد اور فتح تمہارے قریب ہے۔

• لوگوں کا داخل ہونا: جب دینِ حق ظاہر ہو گیا تو لوگ اسلام میں جوق در جوق داخل ہونے لگے۔

• تسبیح اور استغفار: اللہ تعالیٰ نے نبی کو حکم دیا کہ اس کامیابی کے بعد عاجزی اختیار کریں، اللہ کی حمد کریں اور استغفار کریں۔

🔹 سبق

1. کامیابی پر غرور نہیں، شکر اور عاجزی: سورۃ النصر ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ جب بھی ہمیں کوئی کامیابی ملے تو ہمیں اللہ کی تسبیح و تحمید اور استغفار کرنا چاہیے۔

2. اللہ کی مدد ہی اصل کامیابی ہے: جتنی بھی فتوحات ہوئیں، وہ اللہ کی مدد سے ہوئیں، اس لیے اسی پر توکل ضروری ہے۔

3. قربِ وصال کی نشانی: اس سورۃ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی دنیا سے روانگی کا اشارہ بھی موجود ہے، اس لیے اسے "سورۃ الوداع" بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔

🔹 فضیلت

• حضرت عائشہؓ فرماتی ہیں:
  "نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنی وفات سے پہلے اکثر نمازوں میں سورۃ النصر کی تلاوت فرمائی۔"

🌿 اختتامیہ

سورۃ النصر صرف فتح کی خوشخبری نہیں، بلکہ ہمارے لیے ایک عظیم سبق ہے کہ کامیابی کے وقت ہمیں عاجزی، شکر اور توبہ کی طرف رجوع کرنا چاہیے۔ اس سورۃ کو زندگی کا حصہ بنائیں، خاص کر جب کوئی کامیابی ملے۔
