Currently, one in five children globally live in extreme poverty and lack access to these fundamental rights. Their lives are filled with challenges such as illiteracy, disease, child labor, lifelong poverty, and even the risk of death.

According to UNICEF, one in four of the world’s children live in conflict or disaster zones. These children are often the most vulnerable, facing not only the direct consequences of violence and instability but also the long-term effects of being deprived of their basic rights and opportunities.

At Islamic Relief, we believe in more than just offering temporary support. • Basic Needs (بنیادی ضروریات): Food, clean water, and clothing.
• Healthcare (صحت کی دیکھ بھال): Access to medical care and mental health support.
• Education (تعلیم): Opportunities for formal and informal education to secure their future.
• Emotional Support (جذباتی مدد): Counseling and mentorship to help them cope with the loss of their parents.
  یتیموں کی سب سے اہم ضروریات میں شامل ہیں:
• بنیادی ضروریات: کھانا، صاف پانی اور لباس۔
• صحت کی دیکھ بھال: میڈیکل کیئر اور ذہنی صحت کی مدد۔
• تعلیم: رسمی اور غیر رسمی تعلیم کے مواقع تاکہ ان کا مستقبل محفوظ ہو سکے۔

6. What Does the Quran Say About Helping Orphans? (قرآن یتیموں کی مدد کے بارے میں کیا کہتا ہے؟)
The Quran emphasizes the importance of caring for orphans. In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:220), Allah says,

"وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَـٰمَىٰ ۚ قُلْ إِصْلَاحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ ۖ وَإِنْ تُخَـٰلِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ"

"And they ask you about orphans. Say, 'Improvement for them is best. And if you mix your affairs with theirs - they are your brothers. And Allah knows who is the corrupter and who is the reformer.'"

قرآن میں یتیموں کی دیکھ بھال کی اہمیت پر زور دیا گیا ہے۔ سورہ البقرہ (2:220) میں اللہ فرماتا ہے:

"وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَـٰمَىٰ ۚ قُلْ إِصْلَاحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ ۖ وَإِنْ تُخَـٰلِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ"

This verse highlights the need for compassion, justice, and care for orphans, and encourages mixing your wealth and resources with theirs in a way that benefits them.

یہ آیت یتیموں کے لیے ہمدردی، انصاف، اور دیکھ بھال کی ضرورت کو اجاگر کرتی ہے، اور آپ کے مال اور وسائل کو ان کے ساتھ اس طرح ملانے کی ترغیب دیتی ہے جو ان کے لیے فائدہ مند ہو۔

7. Importance of Caring for Orphans and Children in Islam (اسلام میں یتیموں اور بچوں کی دیکھ بھال کی اہمیت):
Caring for orphans and children holds immense importance in Islam.

• Reward from Allah (اللہ سے انعام): Caring for orphans is highly rewarded in the Hereafter.
• Nurturing Compassion (ہمدردی کی پرورش): Islam teaches us to show mercy and kindness, particularly to those who are vulnerable.
• Preserving Dignity (عزت کا تحفظ): Ensuring that orphans and children are treated with dignity and respect is a fundamental aspect of Islamic charity.
  
  اسلام میں یتیموں اور بچوں کی دیکھ بھال بہت اہمیت رکھتی ہے۔
• اللہ سے انعام: یتیموں کی دیکھ بھال آخرت میں بڑا انعام دیتی ہے۔
• ہمدردی کی پرورش: اسلام ہمیں ہمدردی اور مہربانی دکھانے کی تعلیم دیتا ہے، خاص طور پر ان لوگوں کے لیے جو کمزور ہیں۔
• عزت کا تحفظ: یہ یقین دہانی کرنا کہ یتیموں اور بچوں کے ساتھ عزت و احترام کے ساتھ پیش آیا جائے، اسلامی صدقہ کا بنیادی جز ہے۔

In conclusion, supporting orphans and vulnerable children is not only a charitable act but a vital part of our Islamic duty. By providing for their needs and ensuring they grow up with care and opportunities, we are fulfilling a key responsibility to our society and in the eyes of Allah.
