Chapter 4: The Hidden Door

Alex and Hammad held their positions firmly. The cloaked figure slowly advanced toward them, his red eyes glowing in the darkness, and the device in his hand emitting a blue light. It didn’t look like an ordinary weapon; rather, it seemed like some ancient, powerful artifact.

"Who is this? And what’s in his hand?" Hammad whispered.

"Whoever it is, they’re dangerous," Alex said cautiously, stepping back.

But as soon as she moved, the ground beneath her feet gave way. A hidden door opened, and Alex began to fall. Hammad quickly tried to grab her hand, but he too lost his balance, and both tumbled into the darkness.

They landed in a mysterious tunnel.

The tunnel resembled a secret passageway of an ancient fortress. Torches lined the walls, burning as if someone had been there before. At the end of the tunnel stood a heavy wooden door with strange inscriptions in an ancient language.

"What is this place? Could this be a hidden section of the palace?" Hammad asked in astonishment.

"Maybe… but we need to leave quickly. That cloaked figure won’t be far behind," Alex said, moving toward the door.

But just as they tried to open it, the sound of footsteps echoed through the tunnel.

They froze.

Was it the same masked figure? Or someone else?

Hammad quickly pressed himself against the wall, signaling Alex with his eyes to remain silent. The footsteps grew closer and closer, and then suddenly, a shadowy figure emerged in the tunnel…

(Is it a friend or a foe? Will this tunnel lead them to safety or into greater danger?)

Chapter 5: Deception or Salvation?

Alex and Hammad stayed pressed against the wall. The shadow in the tunnel slowly became clearer. It wasn’t an ordinary person but a masked woman whose eyes glowed mysteriously.

"What are you two doing here?" she asked in a firm yet hushed tone.

Hammad quickly glanced at Alex as if seeking guidance. Alex cautiously replied, "We’re trapped here… and we need a way out. Who are you?"

The masked woman stared at them for a moment, then said slowly, "I am the one who can get you out of here… but you’ll have to trust me."

Was this a trick? Or was she really their way to freedom?

Hammad eyed her suspiciously. "Why should we trust you? And how do you even know we’re here?"

A faint smile appeared on the woman’s lips. "Because I know what you are searching for—it’s hidden here. And I can take you to it, but…"

"But what?" Alex asked anxiously.

"You will have to face your greatest fear."

Alex and Hammad exchanged glances.

There was no way back, and in front of them stood this mysterious woman, offering them a chance at freedom—but at a cost.

"The choice is yours," she said. "Are you ready?"

(Is this truly an escape route or another trap? What will Alex and Hammad decide?)

Chapter 6: Reality or Illusion?

Alex and Hammad’s breaths were uneven. The masked woman’s eyes gleamed strangely as if she was waiting for their decision.

Hammad whispered to Alex, "Can we trust her? This could be another trap set by Zain."

Alex took a deep breath. "We have no other option. If it’s a trick, at least we tried something."

The masked woman smirked. "Don’t waste time. This door won’t stay open for long."

Alex hesitated, then stepped forward. Hammad, lost in deep thought, followed her. As they entered the next section of the tunnel, the door behind them shut automatically, as if some unseen force was pushing them forward.

"Now what?" Hammad asked anxiously.

The masked woman pressed a specific stone on the wall. Suddenly, the ground trembled, and a hidden door opened. Inside was a small yet eerie chamber, its walls covered with ancient symbols. In the center stood an old table with a glowing chest placed upon it.

"What is this?" Alex asked in astonishment.

The woman’s voice turned cold. "This is what Zain has been chasing you for. It’s not just a chest… it holds a secret—one that could either save you or destroy you forever."

Hammad looked at Alex uneasily. "What do we do? Should we open it?"

Alex slowly reached out…

But as soon as the chest opened, a deafening scream filled the room, followed by a blinding flash of light!

Chapter 7: Betrayal or Destiny?

The intense flash of light blinded Alex and Hammad. Their hearts pounded in their chests. As the mist cleared, they saw an ancient book inside the chest, its pages gleaming like gold.

"What… is this?" Hammad asked, his voice trembling.

The masked woman took a deep breath. "This book is centuries old. It contains a secret—one that, if understood, could make you invincible… or destroy you completely."

Alex carefully touched the book. As soon as she flipped the first page, a cold breeze swept through the room, and the words on the pages started glowing on their own.

"Whoever seeks the truth shall face the deception lurking in the shadows…"

Hammad quickly shut the book. "This is a magical book! How can we trust it? What if it’s trapping us?"

The masked woman looked at them intensely. "That choice is yours… but remember, Zain wants this book. And if he gets it, the world will fall into chaos."

Alex glanced at Hammad. "We have to decide—should we take this book and run, or unlock its secrets before Zain gets to it?"

But suddenly, footsteps echoed from behind the walls… Someone was approaching!

Who was it? Zain’s men? Or someone else?

Was this book their salvation or a curse?
