Surah Al-Ikhlas – The Essence of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) 

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

 ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ 

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

 وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

🌸 Introduction:

Surah Al-Ikhlas is the 112th chapter of the Holy Qur'an and was revealed in Makkah. It consists of only four short verses but carries deep and powerful meaning. This Surah is known as "Ikhlas", which means "sincerity" or "purity", because it purely describes the Oneness and uniqueness of Allah.

🔹 Translation and Meaning:

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

• "Say: He is Allah, the One."

• Allah is unique, without partner or equal.

 ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ

• "Allah, the Eternal Refuge."
  Allah is self-sufficient; everything depends on Him, but He depends on no one.

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

• "He neither begets nor is born."
  Allah has no children nor parents. He is beyond human attributes.

 وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

• "Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
  No one is like Him in any way — not in form, power, or essence.

🔹 Significance of Surah Al-Ikhlas:

1. Foundation of Tawheed:
   The Surah expresses the concept of absolute monotheism, the heart of Islam.

2. Equivalent to One-Third of the Qur'an:
   Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
   “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, it is equal to one-third of the Qur'an.”
   (Sahih Bukhari)

3. Describes Allah’s Attributes Clearly:
   In just four verses, it covers Allah’s Oneness, Self-sufficiency, Eternal nature, and incomparability.

🔹 Virtues in Hadith:

• Love for Surah Al-Ikhlas brings Allah’s love:
  A companion who frequently recited it in prayer was praised by the Prophet ﷺ and told:
  “Your love for it has earned you entry into Paradise.”

• Protection:
  Reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas along with Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas three times every morning and evening provides protection from all evil.

• Before Sleep:
  The Prophet ﷺ would recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Naas before sleeping, blowing them over his body for protection.

🔹 Life Lesson:

Surah Al-Ikhlas reminds us that Allah is One, Eternal, and unlike any of His creation. It teaches us to purify our faith from all forms of shirk (associating partners with Allah) and to rely only on Him. Despite being so short, it carries a message strong enough to shape our entire belief system.

 سورۃ الاخلاص – توحید کا جامع پیغام 

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

 ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ 

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

 وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

🔹 تعارف:

سورۃ الاخلاص قرآن مجید کی 112ویں سورۃ ہے، جو مکہ مکرمہ میں نازل ہوئی۔ اس سورۃ کو "اخلاص" کا نام اس لیے دیا گیا ہے کیونکہ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی توحید کو خالص اور جامع انداز میں بیان کرتی ہے۔

🔹 معنی و مفہوم:

• قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
  کہہ دیجیے: وہ اللہ ایک ہے۔

• ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
  اللہ بے نیاز ہے (ہر چیز اس کی محتاج ہے، وہ کسی کا محتاج نہیں)۔

• لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
  نہ اُس نے کسی کو جنا، نہ وہ جنا گیا۔

• وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
  اور نہ ہی کوئی اُس کا ہمسر ہے۔

🔹 سورۃ الاخلاص کی اہمیت:

1. توحید کی بنیاد: یہ سورۃ ہمیں بتاتی ہے کہ اللہ واحد ہے، اُس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔

2. قرآن کا ثلث (تیسرا حصہ): حدیث میں آیا ہے کہ یہ سورۃ قرآن کے ایک تہائی کے برابر ہے۔ (صحیح بخاری)

3. اللہ کی صفات: اللہ کی بے نیازی، لاشریک ذات، اور ابدی صفات کا بیان ہے۔

4. محبت کی علامت: جو شخص اس سورۃ سے محبت رکھے، اللہ اس سے محبت کرتا ہے۔ (صحیح بخاری)

🔹 فضائل احادیث کی روشنی میں:

• حضرت محمد ﷺ نے فرمایا:
  "کیا تم میں سے کوئی اس بات کو پسند کرتا ہے کہ جب وہ سوتے وقت سورۃ الاخلاص پڑھے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے جنت میں گھر بنائے؟"
  (ترمذی)

• ایک صحابی نے اس سورۃ کو ہر نماز میں پڑھنا اپنی عادت بنائی، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
  "تمہاری محبت نے تمہیں جنت کی طرف لے جایا ہے۔"

🔹 روزمرہ زندگی میں اس کا استعمال:

• سورۃ الاخلاص کو صبح و شام تین بار پڑھنا حفاظت کا ذریعہ ہے۔

• سونے سے پہلے سورۃ الفلق، سورۃ الناس اور سورۃ الاخلاص تین بار پڑھنے کی تلقین کی گئی ہے۔

🔹 سبق:

سورۃ الاخلاص ہمیں اللہ پر کامل ایمان، توکل، اور خالص عقیدہ توحید کی طرف بلاتی ہے۔ یہ سادہ، مختصر مگر انتہائی جامع سورۃ ہے جو ہر مسلمان کے ایمان کی بنیاد ہونی چاہیے۔
