The Curse of Mahru’s Mansion

(A Ghost Story Full of Mystery & Horror)

Deep in the forgotten outskirts of a small town, Mahru’s Mansion stood in eerie silence. Once a grand estate filled with laughter and music, now it was nothing more than a decaying ruin, haunted by whispers of a deadly curse. No one dared to enter, for those who did—never returned.

The Mysterious Dare

One stormy night, a group of five friends—Arman, Zara, Rida, Sameer, and Bilal—decided to test the legend. They had heard the stories: Mahru, a young girl who vanished decades ago, was said to still roam the halls, seeking revenge. But none of them believed in ghosts.

“Just a mansion, nothing more,” Arman smirked as they pushed open the rusted gates. The air inside was unnaturally cold, and the old wooden floor creaked under their steps.

The Shadow in the Hallway

As they moved deeper into the mansion, Rida suddenly froze. “Did you hear that?” she whispered. A child’s giggle echoed in the dark. The group exchanged uneasy glances.

Then, Zara screamed—her flashlight flickered, revealing a shadowy figure standing at the end of the hallway. A girl in a white dress. Her head tilted unnaturally, and her eyes... were hollow and black.

Trapped in the Mansion

The doors slammed shut behind them. Panic took over. They ran to the exit, but the doorknobs wouldn’t turn. The house had locked them in.

Sameer’s voice trembled. “This isn’t real... This isn’t real...” But the whispering started again. "Stay with me... forever..."

Suddenly, Bilal was yanked into the darkness. His scream was cut short. When they found him—his eyes were wide open, but lifeless.

The Truth About Mahru’s Curse

Zara, the only one who had read about the mansion’s history, realized the truth. “Mahru wasn’t a ghost,” she gasped. “She was a child sacrificed by her own family to an ancient demon. This house... it feeds on souls!”

The group had to escape before they were next. But the mansion wouldn’t let them go so easily.

The Final Choice

With no other option, Arman grabbed an old rusty dagger from the altar in the mansion’s basement and plunged it into his own palm, offering his blood to break the curse.

The mansion shook violently. A loud, inhuman shriek filled the air. The walls cracked, the doors burst open... and then—silence.

When Zara opened her eyes, they were back outside. The mansion was gone, replaced by an empty field.

But as they turned to leave, a faint giggle echoed behind them... "Stay with me... forever."
